As I was catching up on my e-mail, I turned on the noon news yesterday. I looked up and my attention was captured immediately. It turns out that Brides Against Breast Cancer is coming to town with their Tour of Gowns. You can catch a couture gown for 25-75% below retail. The tour will be at the DoubleTree Hotel in Chesterfield this weekend, August 28 and 29. You can purchase advance tickets for the Friday morning Power Hour for $20. Admission is free on Friday afternoon and all day Saturday. Past brides can also donate their dresses at this event. Brides-to-be, don’t trash your dress, donate it!
Brides Against Breast Cancer is part of Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation, a charity committed to granting wishes to metastatic breast cancer patients, while continuing to support, educate and increase resource awareness.
