erik – the graduate

David and I just want to congratulate our awesome nephew Erik.  Erik recently graduated high school.  We were amazed to see how much he has grown up in the past few months.  I clearly remember the first time I met Erik.  It was just about 9 years, and he had just turned 9 years old.  David and I had been dating for a few months, and he brought me to meet his family at AppleBees.  I took my 3 little sisters as reinforcements.  My youngest sister was also 9 years old.  Erik was this adorable blonde haired boy with piercing brown eyes.  I secretly wanted him to grow up and marry my little sister RaeAnn.  That won’t happen, but that’s alright. Erik is about embark on an adventure that will quickly take him out into this very big world.  Erik, we wish you happiness and success with a little fun along the way.  Most of all, we hope that you will stay safe and out of harm’s way.
