ci photobooth goes green!

client-accessMy husband and I have always done what we could to conserve the earth’s resources.  We don’t join mailing lists, unless they are of the e-mail variety, because we can’t stand the idea of beautiful trees showing up as a bi-product in our mailbox.  And, we recycle everything possible.  Our recycling bin always has 3 or 4 times the amount of waste in it than our regular trash can.  We could easily go weeks without a regular trash pick up, but we can barely wait for the next recycle pick up because our bin is always running over.  Thank goodness for our city’s recycling program!  (Way to go, O’Fallon!!!)  But, we know that we can always do more.  So we keep trying to find ways to do just that.  To prove my point, we are living amongst chaos while new bamboo floors are being installed in our home.

So, it just made sense that we would find a way be a little more “green” with our business.  It took a lot of time and effort to find a solution for us, but we finally found a way to reduce our company’s carbon footprint.  We have gone to an absolutely paperless booking and payment system.  No more printing and mailing forms or confirmation packets.  We are so excited about this because it not only reduces our paper consumption, it makes the booking process a lot easier for our clients.  You just go to our website and fill out the online form.  Then, we will send you a link to your own unique client access page.  You will set your own password and log in.  From there, you can accept your quote, electronically sign your contract and make your payment online.  The whole system is pretty cool!  Not only does it allow for paperless booking, but it also helps us keep track of the timeline and all of the important details for your event.  No more paper reminders all over my desk!  I love it, I love it, I love it!  (That was a nod to Molly Shannon, for all of you 90’s SNL fans.  Remember her as the licensed joyologist, Helen Madden?)
