Okay, this is totally off the topic of photobooths. But, because weddings are our main source of business, I feel that sharing tips with Brides to help them look amazing on their wedding day is completely acceptable. Afterall, brides want to look hot in their photobooth pictures, too!
Here’s my personal story: I’ve had a gym membership for the last 10 years, but I’ve switched gyms several times. I started out at the tiny old Gold’s Gym in Manchester. It was right down the street from my workplace, so it made sense, and I frequented the treadmill on a near daily basis. Time went by, and I didn’t see any major result, so I started cutting back on my time spent at the gym. After about a year, we moved about a half hour away from our gym, so we switched to a community recreation center that was closer to home. But, I hated the workout environment, so I all but stopped working out. I managed to visit the gym once a month, just to say that I went. After that didn’t work out so well, we switched our membership to 24-Hour Fitness. I loved the place! They had classes like cardio kickboxing and step aerobics. This I could do, and it helped keep me motivated. But, it too was a little far from home. So, my attendance dwindled. Then, we switched to a small local gym that was extremely close to home. The owner was a professional athlete, and he offered personal training. So, I got one-on-one assistance from an amazing trainer. I loved the owner/trainer, and I loved the state of the art equipment in his gym. But, I refused to work out without a trainer. That eventually got expensive, and my bank account started to feel the squeeze. Since his gym didn’t offer free classes, I decided to switch to the brand new Gold’s Gym in town. Again, it was on…I was at the gym 5 days a week and went to every class that I could fit into my schedule. But, I dwindled because the class times didn’t really work with my schedule. If I tried working out my own without a trainer or a class instructor, I felt lost-completely 100 percent L – O – S – T, LOST! I needed help, major help!
So recently, my husband found Personal Trainer on Men’s Health Magazine online. He got the 30 Day Trial, filled in his personal information, and got his customized workout plan. David has also worked out religiously for the last 14 years, never missing a week-even on vacation! He has always looked fit, but recently I started noticing a big difference in his physique. He went from just having a flat stomach to having actual definition. The boy is well on his way to having washboard abs! This change happened all in a matter of weeks. The program actually works, and entire year of training costs less than two sessions with a personal trainer.
After David’s results became quite visible, I thought, ‘I must check this out!’ But of course, I don’t want a fitness plan for a man…I have curves that I want to keep. So, I did a little digging, and I found that Fitness Magazine has a similar Personal Trainer program for women. So excited! I signed up right away, and I got my own personal workout and meal plan. The best part is that the Fitness Magazine program costs less than the Men’s Health program. The fee is just $69.99 per year, or $8.99 a month. That’s less than the cost of just one session with a trainer. I will share my progress as I make my way through the program, but I am so excited to have a plan to help me navigate the gym and keep me motivated. This is more than half the battle.
Here’s a example of what the program looks like:

Can’t wait to get started…tomorrow!
